What areas do you travel to for photos?
I generally take photos within the city of Edmonton, so if you’re hoping to capture photos more than 20 minutes outside of the city limits, please reach out and we can chat about it.
How many family members can I bring to my family session?
My pricing is based on taking photos of just one immediate family unit. If you’d like photography for an extended family, drop me a message and I’d be happy to send you an updated price on what it would be based on how many families will be participating.
What should we wear for our family photos?
The goal is to create beautiful, timeless images that you’ll cherish for years to come. Often, I recommend opting for neutral colored outfits. Soft hues like creams, grays, tans, dusty blues, and muted greens tend to photograph beautifully and create a cohesive and timeless look. These colors help keep the focus on your faces and connection rather than distracting bright colors or busy patterns.
Instead of everyone wearing the same shirt and jeans, aim for a harmonious color palette. Try choosing 2-3 main colors and incorporate variations, shades, or complementary colors within those.
Ultimately, the most important thing is that everyone feels comfortable and confident in what they’re wearing. If someone is uncomfortable, it will show in the photos. I also encourage you to let your family’s individual personalities shine through in your clothing choices.

What if my child is uncooperative during the session?
It happens! I have plenty of experience working with children who might be having an off day. I’m patient, playful, and have various techniques to try and engage them. We can take breaks, play games, and adjust our approach as needed. My goal is to make the session as fun and stress-free as possible for everyone.
Can we include our pets in the family photos?
Absolutely! I love including furry family members in sessions, provided the location allows it. Please let me know in advance if you plan to bring your pet so we can discuss logistics and ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you need to reschedule your session, please notify me as soon as possible. The retainer fee is generally non-refundable but can often be applied to a rescheduled session, subject to my availability.
What happens after our photo session?
After your session, I will carefully select and professionally edit the best images. This process typically takes 2-3 weeks. Once your gallery is ready, I will send you a link to a private online gallery where you can view and download your images.
How long will our online gallery be available?
Your online gallery will typically be available for 30 days. Please download your images within this timeframe.
